Some days you are healing, some days you are feeling. Some days, you’re thriving. Some days, you’re just getting by. It’s all valid

Embracing the Spectrum of Emotions

You need to understand that life is a journey, in this continuous flow you will have good days and bad ones — they are not supposed to be equals. You will have days when you are in a process of healing, lovingly tending to your mind and body as it restores from the wear and tear that life has done on them. Healing goes beyond physical recovery, it is also emotional and mental healing. Healing should take time and time means sitting with yourself, feeling what you need to feel (something I spent my whole life running away from) rather than suppressing it.

Then there are days when feelings can overwhelm us. Whether it’s joy, sadness, frustration, or excitement, these emotions shape our individual experiences and narratives. Allowing yourself to feel deeply fosters personal growth and enhances your understanding of who you are. It’s through these vivid experiences that we develop empathy and connection with others around us.

On the flip side you have these days were everything seems to be going well. This is more a question of the successful, fulfilling moments where everything seems to hit just right. This is when you might feel on top of the world, invincible or capable to conquer new opportunities and your projects with enthusiasm. And these are the moments we need to relish, take time to celebrate for all the sweat and tears.

But, at times life is simply not about thriving. Some days will be so hard that you are just getting by. Because some days, just making it through sounds like winning. That’s when we have to remind ourselves; this thing is human too. Needing support doesn’t subtract from your value or accomplishments; it recognizes the struggles everyone deals with.

Finally, at the end of the day all those feelings are real. And remember, whether you’re in a healing stage or feeling pretty good about stuff for the week, it is all meaningful and part of your journey. Tackling these emotional peaks and valleys helps to reveal an inner truth about who you are, what the world truly is around you, creating a life with more depth and love.
